Why Wallflower?
Falling in love with weddings was unexpected— often how the best stories begin. When we started Wallflower in 2021, our team was known for producing concerts and multi-day events, not wedding ceremonies and receptions. We intended to bring our polished production expertise to personal events, and our unique lighting style quickly offered a fresh perspective to luxury wedding design in Pittsburgh.
As we worked on weddings, we created some of the most stunning and meaningful work of our careers—celebrating love alongside couples and their families.

Typically, we plan 3–6 months in advance, but we’re happy to accommodate both longer- and shorter-term requests. We often ‘save the date’ for clients while we finalize their wedding’s lighting design proposal. Our scope of work tends to evolve as all of the design details are finalized.
